Individual Assessment
We offer individually administered cognitive assessments, primarily for advanced placement and private school admissions. Our most commonly used test is the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V), though our staff can help determine the best test for your needs.
We also offer Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scales of Intelligence (WPPSI-IV), Differential Ability Scale—Second Edition (DAS-II-NU), as well as achievement tests using the Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement (KTEA-3) or Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-4.
Key Information
- Fee: $425 (waivers available for those who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch or Medicaid)
- Examiners: Graduate students in school psychology supervised by licensed psychologists
- Testing Duration: Approximately 2-3 hours
- Results: Reviewed by licensed psychologists, followed by a virtual feedback session and secure electronic report delivery

Please leave a voicemail if we do not answer and we will return your call within 2 business days. 703-993-4200. We are open year-round. During the academic year, we test 6 days a week. In the summer months, we have a slightly more limited schedule.
Results will be available within 2- 4 weeks of your testing date. We will do our best to help you meet any published deadlines.
What to Expect

- Confirmation & Payment: Once scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email with:
- Payment link ($425, unless eligible for a waiver)
- Location & parking details
- Required forms to complete in our portal before testing
