Group Testing/CogAT & NNAT

Overview

Our program offers Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) and Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT-3) at certain points of the year.

Registration is now closed for our final testing date for the 2024-25 school year.

For those scheduled for the January 11 testing date (updated 1/8/25):

You will receive a detailed email today with location and payment information. In the event of inclement weather GMU closures for Saturday morning, we are working on a rescheduled date. You will receive information via email about any changes, so please check often for a message from cap@gmu.edu.

Results will be available within one month of testing. If you have a deadline that is shorter than one month, you can let us know at registration and we will do our best to get you the results by then. We are aware of the Jan 24 AAP deadline. If testing date is rescheduled, FCPS confirmed that they will accept your results by Jan 31 as long as you otherwise submit your application on time.

If you expect to need Cogat/NNAT testing this summer, we may offer it on a case by case basis for those who are NEW to FCPS and are applying for an August deadline. Check back here by June 2025 for details.
